Transferring money between your Yeeld account and your investment accounts, such as a General Investment Account (GIA), Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), Individual Savings Account (ISA), or Piggy Bank, is simple and secure. Follow the steps below to manage your funds effectively:

Transferring Funds to Your Investment Accounts

To deposit money into your investment accounts (GIA, SIPP, ISA, Piggy Bank), follow these steps:

  1. Access the Portfolio Section:
    • Open the Yeeld app and select the ‘Portfolio’ tab located on the bottom right of the screen.
    • This will take you to your Portfolio page, where you can see an overview of your investment accounts.
  2. Select the Investment Account:
    • Choose the specific investment account to which you want to deposit funds (GIA, SIPP, ISA, or Piggy Bank).
    • Tap on the investment account to open the detailed view.
  3. Initiate the Deposit:
    • Look for the ‘Deposit’ option on the account page.
    • Select this option to begin the process of transferring funds from your Yeeld account to your chosen investment account.
  4. Choose the Source Account:
    • Select the Yeeld account from which you want to transfer the funds. This could be one of your currency wallets or another account within Yeeld.
    • Ensure that the source account has sufficient funds for the transfer.
  5. Enter Deposit Details:
    • Input the amount you wish to deposit. You have the option to:
      • Enter the amount in the original currency of the source account.
      • Specify the amount to be added in the target currency of your investment account.
    • The app will automatically display the corresponding amount in both currencies.
  6. Review Exchange Rates (if applicable):
    • If the deposit involves a currency exchange, review the exchange rate provided by Yeeld. This will be clearly displayed under the amount fields.
    • Check for any applicable conversion fees that might apply.
  7. Confirm the Deposit:
    • Review the details of the deposit, including the source and target accounts, amount, exchange rate, and any fees.
    • Once you are satisfied, tap ‘Continue’ to proceed.
  8. Authenticate the Deposit:
    • As part of the Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) process, you will need to confirm your identity.
    • Enter your password or passcode and verify using a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email.
    • For enhanced security, you may also be prompted to use biometric authentication (fingerprint or facial recognition).
  9. Finalise the Deposit:
    • After successful authentication, tap ‘Confirm’ to complete the deposit.
    • You will receive a confirmation message once the deposit is processed.

Important Points to Note:

  • Processing Times: Transfers between Yeeld accounts and investment accounts may take some time to process, depending on the type of transaction and any applicable security checks.
  • Fees and Limits: Be aware of any fees and transaction limits that may apply to both deposits and withdrawals.
