When you add a new payee or update someone’s account details, Yeeld checks the information with the receiving bank. This helps us:
If the payee’s details don’t fully match, you might see one of the following messages:
Partial match — The name you entered is close but not exact
No match — The name doesn’t match the bank’s records at all
These results may also appear if the receiving bank doesn’t support Confirmation of Payee (CoP).
If you see one of these warnings, we recommend:
If you’re confident everything is correct, you can still proceed — but bear in mind that if the name is wrong, your money could go to the wrong person or even a scammer. In some cases, we may not be able to recover the funds.
